2.1 Event Participation

"Show Up for Humanity" and related events are free cultural events. Participation is subject to the following conditions:

Events are open to all ages unless specifically stated otherwise
Registration may be required for certain activities
Capacity may be limited; registration does not guarantee entry
Event schedules, lineup, and locations may change without prior notice
Worried Citizens vzw reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants who behave inappropriately
Participants must comply with venue rules and safety instructions

2.2 Event Cancellation & Changes

Worried Citizens vzw reserves the right to:

Cancel, postpone, or modify events due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, safety concerns, force majeure)
Change event lineup, schedule, or location
Implement additional safety measures or entry requirements

In case of event cancellation, participants will be notified via email and our website. As events are free, no refunds apply.

2.3 Health & Safety

Participants attend events at their own risk
Follow all safety instructions and venue guidelines
Inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your participation
We may implement health and safety measures as required by law or circumstances

3. Photography, Video & Image Rights

3.1 Event Photography/Videography

By attending our events, you acknowledge and agree that:

Photography and videography will take place during events
Your image, voice, and likeness may be captured in photos, videos, or other recordings
These materials may be used by Worried Citizens vzw for promotional, educational, and documentation purposes
Materials may be published on our websites, social media, press releases, and other marketing materials
No compensation will be provided for use of your image or likeness

3.2 Opt-out Rights

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed:

Inform our staff at the event entrance
We will provide you with identification (e.g., colored wristband) to indicate your preference
While we will make reasonable efforts to avoid including you in photos/videos, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion from all recordings

3.3 Your Own Recording

Personal photography and social media sharing are encouraged
Commercial photography or recording requires prior written permission
Do not photograph or record other attendees without their consent

4.1 Donation Terms

All donations to Worried Citizens vzw are voluntary
Donations support our mission to create cultural events addressing social issues
We currently cannot provide tax certificates for donations
Donations are processed securely through our payment provider Mollie
Donation amounts and purposes may be displayed publicly (without donor names unless consented)

4.2 Refund Policy

Donations are generally final. Refund requests will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and must be submitted within 14 days of the donation. Contact info@worriedcitizens.com for refund requests.
