DATE / HOURS

Show Up for Humanity takes place on the 20th of September 2025 from 12:00 until 23:00. After that, we kindly ask everyone to leave the area quietly to respect local residents.

LOCATION

The event will take place right in front of the Atomium, Brussels (Brussels Expo, Heizel). You can find the directions here.

MOBILITY

There will be parking for your bike and a good connection with public transport. We encourage you to leave the car at home, but parking spots will be available at Parking C of Brussels Expo. Plan your route.

FOOD

Outside food and drinks are not allowed – but no worries, we’ve got you covered with many refreshing and tasty options at the event.

Is this festival family friendly?

Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome, our program will include kid-friendly activities and performances. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Yes! We find it extremely important that our event is accessible to anyone. The venue will be fully wheelchair accessible, with adapted restrooms and a viewing platform at the main stage. An info point will offer support for specific needs and accessibility details will be shared in clear language online.

What can I bring (or not bring)?

✅ Empty reusable bottles (to refill at water stations)
✅ Small stools or foldable seat pads
✅ Light rain poncho or small foldable umbrella
✅ Sunscreen (non-aerosol) and personal care items
✅ Mobile phone, compact camera (no detachable lenses)
✅ Earplugs, sunglasses, hat or cap

What’s not allowed?
❌ Backpacks, large bags, or suitcases
❌ Glass bottles, alcohol, or liquids over the allowed limit
❌ Pets (except registered assistance animals)
❌ Large umbrellas, chairs, or bulky seating
❌ Professional camera gear, tripods, selfie sticks, drones
❌ Drugs, weapons, fireworks, or hazardous items
❌ Party-political flags or Israeli flags
❌ Any items deemed dangerous or disruptive by security

Can I take photos or film?

Smartphones and small cameras are allowed. Professional equipment, tripods, drones and accessories like GoPros or selfie sticks are not permitted.

Will the event be livestreamed?

Yes, Show Up for Humanity will be live-streamed by Proximus and available on many media channels including this website. Keep an eye on our social media and this website to stay up to date and find the link to the livestream. When you’re joining us in Brussel, it is important to know that Show Up for Humanity will be broadcasted live.  Please be aware that you could potentially be on camera. By entering the location, you agree to be filmed.
